FAQs
Why should I drink water after a
Massage?
Massage
releases toxins from tissues in your body. The lymphatic system
and the circulatory system to accumulate these toxins and process them.
Without water these systems become sluggish and the toxins can be
re-absorbed into the tissues. This can cause such conditions as back
pain and arthritis. It is recommended to drink of water after a massage.
Can massage therapy aid in my
recovery after a surgery or injury?
Yes,
Massage Therapy aids the body by increasing the lymphatic system and the
circulatory system. It's will aid in the recovery from an injury or
surgery. Always check with your primary physician/doctor before
starting into any alternative program or therapy.
Do you use lotion or oil?
I
use an Advanced Therapy Massage Lotion. Most of my clients my clients
don't like oil because it's greasy and leaves a residue on the skin and
clothing. Lotion is excellent for any area of the body, leaves skin with
a light, smooth, soft feel. I have oils and creams if a client requests
it.
What do I get more relaxing in my massage session?
Aromatherapy,
Smell has the most sensitive receptors. This is because when you smell
an aroma, an impulse travels immediately down the olfactory nerve to the
limbic system (a tiny part of the brain where emotion, hunger, memory
and other responses are evoked)

Candles,

Music,
